Your TP must be super expensive, right?

Not to be that company, but it’s actually a pretty good deal.

Let’s talk toilet paper numbers: many toilet paper brands measure their cost per roll, not per sheet. They do this because they make single length rolls with fewer sheets, so it sounds better. Because we make super long rolls (at least 370 sheets), it may seem like we’re more expensive. But in reality, we are generally on par with - if not more affordable - than other toilet paper brands.

Here’s a handy toilet paper formula if you want to get down and mathy:

  • Total price / Number of rolls / Number of sheets per roll x 100
  • For example, 48 rolls of 100% Recycled TP for £44
  • £44 / 48 / 400 x 100 = 23p per 100 sheets

Based on a review of the top 150 supermarket products in July 2025, the average product costs around 30p per 100 sheets, whereas we start at just 23p per 100 sheets - 23% cheaper! Even our smaller packs in our cushiest bamboo option come in at 36p per 100 sheets, so you can be sure that you're getting a good deal for you and for Mama Earth!

Part of the reason for this is because our rolls are either mega or double length. Mega length rolls are around 50% longer than the standard toilet paper roll, whereas double length are double the length. Based on the same July 2025 review, the average standard supermarket roll is approximately 168 sheets long. On our website our rolls are double length between 370 and 400 sheets long - our recycled rolls are 400 sheets and the bamboo guys are 370 sheets. In our supermarket boxes, both the recycled and bamboo are mega rolls at 270 sheets long. That means that vs. the average supermarket single roll, our retail rolls are mega length, meaning 50% longer, and our website rolls are double length.

We encourage you to compare our prices per sheet (not roll) with that of our competitors.

Not to mention, our toilet paper directly contributes to our donations to non-profit partners working in clean water and sanitation. Can you really put a price on giving back?
