We get it, finding toilet paper that’s a great value can be really confusing. Because really, what’s bigger, jumbo or mega? Giant or XL? What about ultra long? Is that better than super long? We’re not sure either. But if we learned anything from Dr Talagala’s year 10 maths class, it’s that you have to show your work. So here’s ours:
Based on a review of the top 150 supermarket products in July 2025, the average supermarket single roll is approximately 168 sheets long. Our rolls are 270 sheets in retail. On our website, our recycled rolls are 400 sheets and the bamboo are 370 sheets. That means that vs. the average supermarket single roll, our retail rolls are mega length, meaning 50% longer, and our website rolls are double length.
Plus, our double length means we're cheaper too – up to 23% cheaper in fact. Based on the same July 2025 review, the average supermarket roll costs around 30p per 100 sheets, whereas we start at just 23p per 100 sheets, and even our smaller packs in our cushiest bamboo option come in at 36p per 100 sheets. A good deal for you and Mama Earth!
Phew, that was a lot of nerdy detail. Now if you don’t mind, we’re going to get back to watching Love Island. Or making toilet paper. One or the other.
