We don’t use virgin trees to make our products because you shouldn’t have to sacrifice the forests to blow your nose, wipe a spill, or clean your bum. We hope that the simple choice of switching to our toilet paper empowers people to make more positive choices for the environment. After all, the world is only as awesome as the people who inhabit it. Thanks to our incredible customers, it’s getting better by the minute.
Did you know? The production of virgin wood pulp uses almost twice as much water as producing tissue from recycled materials and generates twice as many hazardous air pollutants!
Most of our recycled toilet paper is made from post-consumer waste paper, with a small amount (about 5%) being made from post-industrial paper
. We recycle paper that's already in circulation, rather than cutting down and converting virgin pine into toilet paper to be used once then flushed away. By doing this we're reducing our CO2 and particulate matter emissions, as well as saving water. It's pretty great.
